Annual People's Ball - Tuesday December 29, 2015

First and foremost revolutionary love and appreciations for all those who extended birthday greetings December 4. However, in a sense that is a date in which my birth certificate could have very well been my death certificate. For lack of better terms, it is my political birth date. My physical birth date in which we will be celebrating Dec.29. In which is recognized as the Annual Peoples Ball will be Tuesday Dec. 29, 2015.

This year at the Old Secrets...Now Nzuri. On 141st and Chicago Rd. Right off Cottage Grove. In which will also serve as a Listening Party for my spoken word cd...
The Geto Manifesto.
 Come party with us....9-2.

Fliers and promotions shall be posted and re posted.

Happy Birthday Momma Akua

The Mother Ode'

You think I forgot?
 Well, I think not!
From the Pyramids to the plantation,
Through the sharecropping and segregation.
To the Ole' Earth from her seed
 Yes, indeed you carried me.
In Africa I rode your back
On the plantation a potato sack.
Whatever the case you held me tight.
Kept me close those winter nights. (whisper)
Matriarchs and Mothers and Queens and Nannies.
Big Mamas and Dear Mamas, Geronimos and grannies.
Healers of sickness who addressed the business.
Wasn’t no need for traveling, homemade healthcare!
From common colds, to frequent flus to champion of childbearin’.
Continuously connected through this cold hard system.
When my cries were denied you were the only one listening.
I didn’t play no dissin’ Mama when playing the dozens
For it wouldn’t be no me if she wouldn’t of gave Daddy no lovin’
Through the hard times and struggles, discomforts and pains.
The cold nights, beans and rice, mayo jars with kool-aid.
Yeah, I did my share of stupid stunts, fuck ups and cutting up in the class
You showed TOUGH LOVE and had no hang ups about tapping that ass.
And with those high times we had in my mind remains
First days of school and surprise birthdays.
They’ve been trying to divide us in hectic times throughout the history
From masta’ selling me off ‘till today with Baby ‘T’.
You’ve produced pyramids, taught tribes and gave names to Nations.
You are not only my mother but the Mother of Civilization.
Those are your children in Kenya and the descendants in Dominican.
You’ve breast fed me in Botswana.
And kept me clothed in Ghana.
Whenever they beat me down, you told me “Son stand up!”
You said all men fall down but great Men get up.
When they came and framed me, and placed me behind these walls.
You knew the business, prison visits and collect phone calls.
From the womb to the tomb, from the belly to the grave.
Through four inch glass, prison blues and shackles and chains.
I love you dearly, miss you really.
And that ain’t never gon’ change.

"If you believe that former Mayor of Chicago Harold Washington died from natural causes. You probably believe that what's happening in Chicago today is the result of simply some so-called 'black on black violence'. Sh******t you probably still believe in Santa Claus" -Chairman Fred Hampton Jr..

Urgent Alert and Call To Action - Major Tillery In Hospital

URGENT ALERT MAJOR TILLERY IN HOSPITAL!

Sometime yesterday Major Tillery, a 65 year-old man, was rushed to the hospital from SCI Frackville. Since hearing this yesterday evening through the prison grapevine, family and attorney have tried to learn more. Today, the only thing we have been told by Superintendent Brenda Tritt is that this was “a routine admission” and Major is “receiving the appropriate medical attention.”

Nothing more to to Major Tillery’s daughter, Kamilah Iddeen--not the hospital, the reason for rushing Major to the hospital, no agreement for family and legal visits. Major Tillery has liver disease and a liver shunt, arthritis with chronic back and hip pain, and a festering skin rash and open sores.

Major Tillery has filed grievance after grievance objecting to the lack of medical treatment and refusal to renew needed medical devices. Major Tillery has been imprisoned for 30 years, 25 in the hole and in the most severe super max prisons in the country. For prison officials his crime is his advocacy for other prisoners and leadership capabilities, including challenging abusive prison conditions and inadequate medical treatment. He has been subject to retaliation by prison authorities since he began his successful legal effort to stop the overcrowding and curb the inhumane conditions in SCI Pittsburgh over 25 years ago.
      See, Tillery v. Owens (1990)

In early 2015, Major complained about the spreading skin disease at SCI Mahanoy, where he was then imprisoned. He stood up for Mumia Abu-Jamal and other prisoners who were suffering from this. For his acts of solidarity, Major Tillery was transferred to SCI Frackville and then put in the hole on falsified charges. After four months with limited food rations, deprived of commissary, contact visits and allowed less than one-hour a day of exercise, Major was released into general population. This was two months less than his prison sentence of six months in the hole – the prison’s response to an international campaign for Major!
Now Major is in the hospital!

He is not being allowed contact with his family or attorney. They are not being given any real information on his condition.

 Call prison officials and demand:

  •       Visits with Major Tillery by his family and lawyer. Full       medical information and treatment should be provided to his family and lawyer.
  •      Stop the Retaliation Against Major Tillery. He should be exonerated for the false charges of drug possession and this misconduct removed from his record.
  •      Transfer Major Tillery from SCI Frackville back to SCI Mahanoy or to another facility in eastern Pennsylvania to remain near his family.

URGENT Call To Action!!

In order to further serve the Community and People, the Black Panther Party Cubs, an International Organiziation, has launched this fundraiser to raise $75,000 to provide a Black Panther Party Cubs Community Space and to continue the on-going work.

We have seen our communities suffer and struggle with living in some of the communities harshest conditions. The need to offer a safe community and family space to organize within the community is urgent. With the continous violence that is being witnessed waged upon black and other oppressed communities of Chicago and elsewhere. The lack of community space as well as the lack of other resources has had a detrimental impact on the ability to provide programs, family projects, services and initiatives to the people. We have no other choice but to put this call out- this CALL TO ACTION - to support to create this revolutionary and innovative space for the community.

The Black Panther Party Cubs have been working towards self-determination and hosting the Black Panther Party Cubs' Peoples Survival Programs: Implementing Safe Zones, Children/Community/Cubs, Free Food Programs, Clothing Drives, Political Education, One Prisoner One Contact Campaign, Community Outreach, as well as, other community initiatives and projects have been answering to the needs of the community but your help is needed to provide this much needed space.

Whether it be in the Favelas, Cincinatti, New Orleans, Oakland California, Baltimore, Chicago, Furgeson or elsewhere throughout the World the Black Panther Party Cubs Crisis Response Team has answered the call. To the best of its capabilities, although with limited resources, the Black Panther Party Cubs respond to the Peoples needs.

Please donate $20, $50, $100, etc, what ever you can to support this Fundraiser Call-To-Action.

For additional options to donate contact: blackpanthercubs@gmail.com

Thank you. Please share this site, video and information with friends, family and networks. This is how we will reach our goal.

A lot of people don't know or have a twisted history about the Black Panther Party

"It's not by happenstance that a lot of people don't know or have a twisted history about the Black Panther Party. For it is a concerted effort by the state to obliterate and/or malign that said legacy. Not on our watch! The Cubs are Coming..The Cubs are Coming..The Black Panther Party Cubs are here!!-"-Chairman Fred Hampton Jr..

Chairman Fred Jr. On Contested Conditions.

In response to a request from Ras Ceylon. A fellow Souljah in the struggle for self determination. To touch and/or address a previous supplied summation. In regards to contested/uncontested conditions. Being that there is no expiration date for the politics. In fact we position that although the particulars may vary and names may change. Regardless of scenario, situation, or schematics. The politics will persist and the summations shall not stale. With that said, there are those that seek solace within a system birthed off of bloodshed. We, on the other hand welcome contradictions. Not in the manner of a masochists. For we too desire a time of tranquility and a climate of calm. However, not at the expense of attempting to compromise the contradiction. Of a proposed peace on the plantation. A sentiment in which we've bumped heads with other schools of thought. From salutations to greetings. For we feel that we must not only fight for, but even preface our greetings with freedom prior to peace. For there can be no peace on the plantation.

A shadow boxer who has never set foot in the ring. May be presumed the champ from his/her perspective. For without contested conditions cadre and community alike. Can not provide an accurate account of their respective capabilities.

More work in peace time, less work in work time. Is an old adage that acknowledges the importance of determining, distinguishing, and defining individuals. To not simply limited to that of a climate of a class peace. But in particular, that in times of turmoil. Even as a child coming up in a colonized community. I maintained a mantra that if it be the case. I'd rather catch a misdameanor with a cat. Prior to being thrust head first with a felony. Then finding out this alleged cat was actually a rat.

A characteristic of the race as well as the class contradiction. The bourgeoise as well as the petty bourgeoise possess an affordability to not be called to task for flagrant false calls that they enact and engage in. This said contradiction can and may be recognized. With a review and recognition of a great number of white privileged progressives. Whom are afforded the lane luxury to temporarily exit the expressway of White power. And walk on the wild side with the colonized. As well as that of a long toll of petty bourgeoise individuals. So detached from the dire conditions of the colonized communities. That they are unable to recognize a repercussion from a reward. A contradiction witnessed amongst other genres ....state sanctioned spokespersons, poverty pimps, and abstract artists ("conscious" and reactionary alike). Whom engage in what the Black Panther Party termed as "murder mouthing". In other words, engaging in all sorts of reactionary rhetoric while the weather is warm. However, during the storm... They're gone!...Or better yet, were never there in all senses of the term.

The State Supplies...

"The state supplies us with the most narcissistic individualistic individuals. They dole out to us the most damaged disconnected of the lot. They give us the most greedy of the gambit."

Opposed To Pinning The Tail On The Donkey. We must politically pin the tail on the pig.

"Let it be stated that the community shall not simply dismiss it as a strange coincidence. If suddenly the state says that they've just found out that Ramsey Orta and Feidin Santana are co conspirators in a drug ring. Or a case of coincidental cancer just suddenly appears with Santana. Or suddenly his high school diploma appears to be bogus or something of the sort. No more sidetracking of the slave. For as I stated to prison officials. On one of the many occasions in which they tried to have me taken out. By hidden hand tactics. And they inquired as to who am I having problems with. In which I stated , if I were to choke on a turkey sandwich in here. We are clear who called the shots (literally, figuratively, and politically). And opposed to pinning the tail on the donkey. We must politically pin the tail on the pig."

Sell Outs

"Sellouts!..One of the most over used terms within the black community. Being that most of the mothafu**** that a lot of cats tag with this title. Were never sh*t to begin with. In many cases these revelations and summations are years late and a million dollars short. What many may have presumed as these individuals doing as progressive in past cases. In many cases were under uncontested conditions and/or softball hits in major league baseball games. In other words, in the overall scenario their actions were either directed by the state to take away from major mobilizations by legitimate movements and the masses. Either via innocuous organizations, articulate state sanctioned spokespersons, entertainment, etc.. Or the populace had no idea of what was brewing and being done by real deal representatives. In which made it an easy task for the machine to feed milk toast mouthpieces to the masses. In which they immediately have their fill off of this state supplied fertilizer. Then when vomiting this garbage out, they are suddenly surprised and clamor this is some bullsh*t! We must struggle to be strategic and recognize the warning signs. Though, we may have to utilize various tools, tactics, individuals, organizations and situations. Let them be recognized as such. Armed with a politic that provides us a position in which we have minimum dissapointments. Again, I reiterate observe individuals actions and lack of actions as well as what were the said conditions. For uncontested conditions can be compared to a shadow boxer who has never had a fight. In which many would say, he/she has never lost a fight. Well, we say have they ever had one? Many of those suddenly see and are surprised by many of these 'sellouts'. Is similar to an individual taking a goldfish home and putting it in a position of a guard dog. And then when the fish doesn't bark, bite nor sh*t like a pit. There is the reactionary response of 'Fido (The fish) ain't sh*t!"-Chairman Fred Hampton Jr.. POCC/BPPC

Officer Friendlies!!

"Take a ride through any party venue in Chicago on the south and west sides in which the black community frequents. And quickly get a lesson on how the Gestapos get down in/on the ghetto. Then venture up north to Comiskey park on any given night. And witness how the Officer Friendlies assure any of the overly intoxicated individuals. A safe passage to their destination. Then tell me about this 'post racial society'."                    -Chairman Fred Hampton Jr.

Wednesday, March 4, 2015

"The same pigs that perpetrate these perverted actions upon the people. Will then have their propagandists push their position to the point. That the people become so perplexed. That they'll be turning in drugs to the same police entity that has been pumping it into the veins of the people historically. And turning in guns to the same system that is shooting us." -Chairman Fred Hampton Jr.

Stealing Your Sh*t?

Crabs In The Barrel?!

"Crabs in the barrel?! Who controls the conditions for the 'crabs' in the barrel?...What bureaucracy brought black people to the barrel?...What Braufmans bank off of our bodies?...And what Boule are the middle men/women for the middle passage(s). Which neo colonialist declaw the crabs?...Which pied pipers aid in places the people in the pots? Which rappers come with catchy loops in order that the captured willingly places their head in the hangmans noose?...Who deprives the masses of basic survival needs?...What system sets one plate in front of thousands whom are starving, then says go eat!...In Rwanda who pitted the Hutsis against the Tutsis?....Who made Ni****s?...And who manufactured CHIRAQ!?..When these questions and contradictions are called. The slaves whom were shouting their massas message. Will suddenly become silence of the lambs, or better said...silence of the sheep."

Just because....

"Just because I let sh*t sit. Doesn't mean I don't smell its' stench. For sometimes it serves a purpose to see what flies attract. Just because I don't stare at certain situations. Doesn't mean that my peripheral vision doesn't see it. Just because I am silent at times. Doesn't mean that I am not making a statement. Just because I kick it with some cats. Doesn't mean that they're cut from Cub cloth."

They Will..... By Chairman Fred Hampton Jr.

"They will attempt to keep those of us who struggle as a secret. They will provide the more palatable examples for our people. They will attempt to wipe Men/Women like me from your memory banks. The capitalists have and will issue consequences for mere mention of our names, organizations, and beliefs. The ruling class will raise up the runts amongst the liter. And then will designate that you too, can be seen as a success story, or simply be seen. If you bow down and bark like the lap dogs that the kennels of capitalism have produced. I have been banned by radio stations ...white and negro alike. Shunned by former so-called supporters due to my stance. Forced off of fb. And treated as the invisible man by those whom can only see when the states says it is ok to open their eyes. Though we do not fight for the Glory. But we do recognize the relevance of our counterparts knowing Our Story. For it is exciting! It is inspirational! To know that there have been, and are those whom are cut from a cloth. Not pre-washed and watered down. That has and is standing up! and getting down!"-Chairman Fred Hampton Jr..
